Why Do We Have Chakras?
Chakras are our connection to Divine mind. They are an open channel through which we process information received by Divine consciousness. They are gifts from the Universe. However, like any gift, if we do not open the package, examine the contents and put it to use, it does not serve us – it is simply an unused present. For example, if I receive a new coffee pot from a relative or friend and I let it sit in the unopened box then I cannot brew a fresh cup of coffee using that new appliance.
Perhaps the coffee pot I am currently using has a cracked canister or the heating element doesn't keep the coffee warm; I may be so accustomed to using that old coffee pot that I have forgotten how nice it would be to have a hot cup of coffee brewed properly. My reluctance to make a change limits my enjoyment of morning coffee. To remedy this, all I need to do is open the new gift, take it out of the box and plug it in.
Plugging into Universal consciousness is pretty much the same.
The Crown Chakra is our Divine connection to Universal consciousness. Though this chakra we are able to download valuable information to share with the other chakras.
The Third-Eye Chakra assimilates and integrates this information while translating the data into energy for the other chakras.
The Throat Chakra recognizes the truth of the downloaded information and also shares this data with the other chakras.
Three above, three below, the Heart Chakra is the bridge between the Divine mind and the physical plane where the other three chakras are located. This bridge is critical to understanding how we are multi-dimensional beings who live in the physical world while we strive to be spiritually conscious.
The Solar Plexus Chakra, the center of our mind, struggles to maintain a physical presence that is also conducive to the spiritual.
The Sacral Chakra, the seat of our pleasures, joys and creativity, rests below the center of our minds and above the birth of our bodies.
The Root Chakra, our true physical plane, is where we surpass the physical in order to traverse the spiritual realms that await us.
Chakras, their meaning and uses, are a journey of awakening and understanding.
Study the chakras and get to know your true self and life purpose. It is a Divine gift of greatest importance waiting for you to discover.
Stay tuned for more next week!
Love and light,
Chariss
